Co-founders Spencer and Aditi created the SFSC in October 2021 with full ambition. Ending food insecurity city-wide is a near-impossible task, but they understood that food touches every part of our lives. With that in mind, the SFSC was made to make a change, one step at a time, to make sure everyone is fed. 

With time, the SFSC has grown with many passionate members. We advocate and educate on the complexity of food insecurity through events, research, and volunteering opportunities.
